Pure water is the world’s first and foremost medicine. — Unknown.

Drinking water is the most effortless task to do. Forgetting to drink it is even easier.

One benefit of water is it improves your memory. So once you drink water, it is going to be a loop of you remembering and drinking water either directly or consuming it through different means. And the product of this loop is all the things you have been wanting to change in your body.

  1. Water will reduce your headache
  2. Flush out toxins from your body through sweat.
  3. Give you that healthy, glowing skin.
  4. Help you lose the unnecessary weight.
  5. Boost your immune system. No uninvited sickness!
  6. Boost your energy levels.
  7. Improve digestion and relieve constipation.

There are a hundred other benefits, considering our blood comprises 90% water.

Carry a water bottle everywhere.

Keep a bottle with you all the time and carry it around like it's the solution to all your problems. And trust me, it is a solution for the majority of them.

This will make it easier to not forget to drink water and also allow our lazy selves some less work of getting up to help yourself to a glass every 30 minutes.

Drink it through the solids.

Yep! You heard that right. Consuming water through solids like fruits is one of my favorite ways to avoid drinking just plain water. And who doesn’t love fruits?

To make it even easier, buy your favorite fruits and seasonal ones.

Drink the liquids.

When you are out and have a choice to make for your drinks. Opt for fruit juice. There is no embarrassment in drinking freshly made fruit juice while all your buddies are getting cokes and sodas. Know that you will be in a better mood than them.

Don’t forget to go for no sugar in your juice otherwise drinking the packed one would simply kill the entire purpose.

Munch on it!

Another way to introduce water into the diet is to eat salad. (Cucumber, carrots, beetroots, etc.) Preferably with your meals, so you can avoid drinking actual water during the meal and give your body more than just hydration.

There is no harm in munching on a few pieces of carrots or cucumbers in your free time. So always keep your kitchen stocked with them and make it a mission to carry them in your tiffin with a sprinkle of salt.

Conclusion

You are the sole one in charge of taking care of your body. So make sure you don't forget the most important step of keeping it healthy.

Stay hydrated and stay healthy!
